Toranja e sumo de toranja podem interagir com diazePAM e levar a efeitos colaterais potencialmente perigosos. Discuta o uso de produtos de toranja com o seu médico. Não aumente nem diminua a quantidade de produtos de toranja presente na sua dieta sem antes consultar o seu médico. Não beba álcool enquanto estiver a tomar diazePAM. Este medicamento pode aumentar os efeitos do álcool. Você pode sentir-se mais sonolento, tonto ou cansado, se você tomar diazePAM com álcool. Fale com o seu médico ou farmacêutico se tiver quaisquer dúvidas ou preocupações.

Profissional:

GERALMENTE EVITAR: a ingestão Aguda de álcool pode potencializar a depressão do SNC e outros efeitos no SNC de muitos benzodiazepínicos. Tolerância podem desenvolver doenças crónicas, a utilização do etanol. O mecanismo pode ser diminuída se o apuramento das benzodiazepinas por causa do CYP450 inibição de enzimas hepáticas. Além disso, tem sido sugerido que os déficits cognitivos induzidos por benzodiazepínicos pode ser aumentada em pacientes que cronicamente consumir grandes quantidades de álcool.

MONITOR: o sumo de Toranja pode aumentar as concentrações plasmáticas dos medicamentos administrados por via oral que são substratos da isoenzima CYP450 3A4. No entanto, a interação parece afetar principalmente as drogas que passam por significativas presystemic metabolismo pelo CYP450 3A4 (por exemplo, fármacos com baixa biodisponibilidade oral), presumivelmente devido ao fato de que o sumo de toranja inibe intestinal, ao invés de incluir hepática CYP450 3A4. Porque interacções farmacocinéticas envolvendo sumo de toranja são frequentemente sujeitos a um elevado grau de interpatient variabilidade, a medida em que um determinado paciente pode ser afetado é difícil de prever.

GESTÃO: os Pacientes devem ser aconselhados a evitar o consumo de álcool durante a terapia com benzodiazepínicos. Os doentes que consomem regularmente toranja ou sumo de toranja devem ser monitorizados para efeitos adversos e alterou as concentrações plasmáticas de drogas que passam por significativas presystemic metabolismo pelo CYP450 3A4. Toranja e sumo de toranja deve ser evitado, se uma interação é suspeita. Suco de laranja não é esperado para interagir com estes medicamentos.
